Can I claim for medical expenses for my family members?

​​​​​​​​You can claim for medical expenses for all members of your family insured through your contract, as long as they have activated their card. This means they must have registered, and their personal details and bank account number must have been verified.

 
How do I claim for medical costs incurred by a family member?
 
Scan the medical costs invoices or take a clear photo and send them (ideally as a PDF) in via MyAG Employee Benefits (app or desktop) or ​at www.ag.be/hospi​​.

Please note: your family members can only claim for medical expenses via MyAG Employee Benefits (app or desktop)​ if they are registered on MyAG Employee Benefits​.
For your children under 18, they are automatically registered when you complete registration yourself. Your partner and any children 18 or over must register themselves on MyAG Employee Benefits.

What if I don't want to provide proof of my medical expenses electronically?

Don't worry – you can still send us your medical costs invoices by post. Fill in the "Claim for Reimbursement of Medical Expenses". 
Are your costs linked to a hospitalisation or an accident? In that case, use the "Claim notification​​​" to submit your costs. 

Send the completed form together with a copy of the invoices or proofs of payment to:

Important: Always keep the original documents and only send us copies of your medical bills.
Be sure to include your correct bank account number and also write the reference, contract and/or card number of the family member concerned on one of the documents or cover letters.​
